AMO Group is the parent company for the commercial brand AMO Security and the home improvement brand, AMO Home Solutions.
The AMO Group was founded in 1989 by the late Peter Hudson, to manufacture and supply Roller Shutters, Steel Doors, Security Grilles, Shop & Garden Awnings as well as Garage Doors to commercial, industrial and domestic clients nationwide. The AMO Group acquired Lakeland Awnings in 2014 to establish its AMO Home Solutions brand, a range of contemporary solutions which now includes pergolas, patio roofs, retractable awnings and garage doors.
The business has remained in the family and has gone from strength to strength under the management of Rachael Hudson (Peter’s daughter) and prides itself on providing a quality service for its customers from its Yorkshire head office.

Rachael is our Director. Rachael is the daughter of the late Peter Hudson (Amo Security co-founder) Rachael has been with us since 2012 after losing her father and she has certainly taking the business into new directions and carrying on her fathers legacy, something she is extremely proud of. Those of you that have met Rachael personally will know what an uplifting, beautiful persona she has! She is the Pinot queen for anyone buying!
Abby is our Executive Assistant, Abby is the daughter of our director Rachael and feels extremely proud to enable to next generation of Amo to continue. Abby more than likely will be the first voice you hear when you call our offices and she looks forward to dealing with you.
Liz is Accounts Administrator. Liz is the wife of the late Peter Hudson (Amo Security co-founder) and the mum of Rachael our director. Liz is a little gem and keeps us fuelled with plenty of sweet treats to get us through the working week.
Will is our Operations Manager, he joined the team back in 2015. He is the main man when it comes to Technical, Deliveries, Manufacturing……..you name it he is a dab hand at everything. Will spends most of the week sharing an office with 3 Amo woman, what a lucky man eh (although we think he may beg to differ).
Nigel is our installer and surveyor. He has been with us the longest and is practically part of the furniture. You will usually hear him before you see him whistling a fine tune or two. He will more than likely be the first you see on your surveys…..he likes a strong builders tea no sugar if your asking.
Brad is our Production Assistant. He is the one that assembles our Lakeland Awnings to perfection. He is a cheeky chap and known for having the biggest packed lunch you have ever seen…..in fact if there is ever a sweet treat in the workplace he is the first one in line.
