Galvanised steel roller shutters are the strongest and most cost effective option, and are ideally suited for a wide range of applications.
Probably the most commonly used roller shutters today, they provide a high level of security and are used externally to protect windows and entrances to retail, commercial and industrial premises.
Where planning regulations are at a low level and visibility is not an issue, solid steel roller shutter are the obvious choice. In situations where a visible interior display is advantageous, but a high degree of protection is required, a punched lath roller shutter provides the solution.
Perforated steel roller shutters provide an alternative option whilst still offering a high level of protection. Aesthetically appealing to customers and planning authorities, their small perforations help provide a transparent effect with back lighting.
Steel roller shutters can be powder coated to match the aesthetics of the building. Plastisol coated curtains and boxes are also available to match the cladding of industrial buildings.

My electric roller garage door will only close so far and then comes back up on its own when I operate it from my remote control, but it will close if I press and hold my control panel on the wall?
The most common reason for this would be the safety edge transmitter batteries need changing (these can be found on the bottom rail on your garage door). If your door doesn’t have one of these, we would need to investigate this issue.
If you do need to change the batteries then its worth checking the type as some are 3.6 Lithiam Batteries only!
My roller garage door won’t open and close but I can still hear the motor working?
A= This is potentially the lifting straps on the door that have been damaged/snapped and need replacing. There could be other issues causing this and would require investigation.
The remote batteries may need changing
My garage door wont open or close and I cannot hear the motor.
Check the power source to the door, has a fuse blown?
I have lowered the shutter or garage door (using a remote control) onto something, and it will not open or close:
It’s likely you have bagged the curtain, and the straps may have broken. Also it means your door is not compliant with current legislation and needs an upgrade which we will quote for

Gates are made to size covering openings from 250mm upto to 6 metres wide; available in single bunch (left or right) or double bunched. We can also include lifting or folding bottom tracks for when retractable gates are positioned infront of entryways and doors.
On double sash gates, the sashes can be split with the majority opening to one side, useful where there is a preference or a limited space at one side of the aperture to accommodate the retracted sash.
